Iago Aspas

Aspas finished as the fourth highest scorer in La Liga last season, behind Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo, while also scoring five goals and creating two more as Celta reached the Europa League semi-final.

His intelligent movement is possibly his greatest attribute but he’s also effective shooting from distance – scoring on average one goal every 3.5 shots.

Maxi Gomes

One of Celta Vigo’s latest signings, Maxi Gomes joined the club from Uruguayan side Defensor. The South American scored 15 goals across all competitions last season, also claiming eight assists.

Still only 20, he has already scored two goals in just two appearances since joining Celta and will look to add to that tally should he play against Roma.

Jozabed Sanchez

Following a successful loan spell at the Balaidos during the second half of last season, Jozabed joined Celta this summer on a four-year deal. The midfielder has shown his effectiveness in the middle throughout pre-season, offering up both creativity and goals.

The Roma defence will be wise to limit the space he has to shoot, even from distance, something English side Burnley found out to their cost recently when Jozabed scored two goals against them.
