3x3: Capradossi’s debut, the best young player in Serie A and managerial predictions

Dean Eddyshaw, AS Roma Bristol UK as well as Agustina and Pia from Uruguay are put on the spot with three topical football questions…

The Roma Question: Were you surprised by Elio Capradossi’s performance against Cagliari?

Dean / @godeangogogogo: “Not particularly. Despite the turbulent start to his career which saw him rupture his left ACL on international duty with the Italy U20s (and two less-than-sparkling loan spells at Bari), he’s strong, athletic and calm in possession. He displayed all three of those attributes on his Serie A debut.”

Agustina and Pia / @AsRomaWorlds: “Caprodossi was a surprise. He proved to be up to the standard of the first team with a great performance. We are happy that he has had his chance. We can see in him having a bright future.”

Pete / @ASRomaBristolUK: “When I saw his name in the starting line-up I was worried at first, but his determination and style of play quickly proved my reservations were misplaced.”

The Serie A Question: Which under 23 player in Serie A has most impressed you this season?

@godeangogogogo: “Federico Chiesa - He’s incredibly quick and exciting in possession. He’ll certainly be in the plans of the next permanent Azzurri coach.”

@AsRomaWorlds: “Under! Cengiz was a revelation; he worked hard game after game, until he earned his place in the team and the support of the fans. It's really a pleasure to see him play on the field.”

@ASRomaBristolUK: “Federico Chiesa. Extremely talented and versatile, he will only grow in prowess as he gets older. If he takes after his father, Enrico Chiesa, then Fiorentina could have a future club legend on their hands.”

The General Football Question: Where will Carlo Ancelotti, Arsene Wenger and Luis Enrique be managers at the start of next season?

@godeangogogogo: “Carlo Ancelotti and Arsene Wenger will remain unemployed while Luis Enrique will end up at Arsenal.”

@AsRomaWorlds: “We would have liked Arsene to remain at Arsenal. Ancelotti is likely to coach a Premier League team, but we would like to see him back in Serie A.”

@ASRomaBristolUK: “I'm going to go out on a limb here and say 'nowhere.’ Ancelotti, Wenger, & Enrique are all in the situation to be able to sit back and enjoy a rest from managerial stress before choosing their next job.”
