Totti and Crowe to meet at Colosseum charity event

AS Roma will serve as Main Partner for a special benefit concert in support of the End Polio Now charity initiative on Wednesday 6 June.

The special evening, organised by Rotary International, will see the club send a delegation that will include Francesco Totti – who, as part of the preceedings, will meet Russell Crowe, star of the film 'Gladiator', under the backdrop of the world-famous Colosseum.

During the event the Orchestra Italiana del Cinema (Italian Cinema Orchestra), in collobaration with CineConcerts, will bring to life the soundtrack to the film ‘Gladiator’ inside the Colosseum Archeological Park - as Ridley Scott’s Oscar-winning film is screened.

AS Roma will support Rotary International’s ‘End Polio Now’ initiative through a donation from the Roma Cares foundation.

The aim of the special event is to raise funds for the program, an initiative designed to eradicate polio that counts the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Health Organization, UNICEF and US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention among its supporters.
