World Mental Health Day: AS Roma for Special begins training for 2025/26 season

Club celebrates World Mental Health Day with one-off event for AS Roma for Special team as they resume training.

For World Mental Health Day on 10 October, AS Roma organised a special event to mark the return to training of the AS Roma for Special team, part of the CassiAvass social cooperative. The event was held at ASD Centocelle and attended by Municipio V president Mauro Caliste.

With the aim of promoting mental and physical health, and following the guidelines of the FIGC's Paralympic and Experimental Football Division, AS Roma donated all the sports equipment needed for the Special Team to carry out their activities. The club also sent three academy coaches to run a special training session and give the team advice.

It is another step towards integrating professional and Paralympic football, and sends out an important message on equality and inclusion in sport.
