Dybala: “Roma fans are amazing. They deserved this qualification”

Paulo Dybala spoke to the media after slotting home a 90th-minute penalty to seal victory over Spezia and a place in next season's Europa League.

Here's what the Argentina star had to say...

How much did you want to run over to celebrate with the fans, especially after Wednesday?

“It was a difficult game for us but we were determined to stay focused on the task because we knew we were playing for a place in Europe. We found it hard at the start but then we clicked into gear and managed to win it.”

What's this season been like for you? You've received a lot of love here...

“The Roma fans are amazing. Today once again. It's hard to get behind the team after you lose a final, but our fans have been behind us all year. They deserved to be able to celebrate this qualification for Europe.”

Do you want to stay here for the long term, perhaps with Jose Mourinho?

"Right now I think it's important to enjoy the moment. There'll be time to talk about what will happen in future.”

Didn't you staying depend on getting into the Champions League?

“I have two years left on my contract here.”
