Alberto De Rossi's league-leading Primavera side were pegged back on Tuesday morning, as they drew 2-2 with Lecce at Stadio Tre Fontane.
Joel Voelkerling Persson and Antonio Satriano both got themselves on the scoresheet in the first half to seemingly send the Under-19s on their way to victory, only for a resurgent second half effort from the visitors that turned the game around.
Midfielder Giacomo Faticanti had a late chance to steal all three points back for the hosts, only to be denied from close range.
"Even when it was 2-0 we weren't comfortable, I wasn't happy with the performance," De Rossi said afterwards.
"In the second half we did a poor job of managing the game properly. We could have done better and come away with more, but we shouldn't forget what these boys have done so far this season.
"It can happen that there is the occasional dip in intensity."
