Roma's Primavera side were beaten 3-0 by Hellas Verona on Sunday morning, as they suffered just their second defeat of the league campaign.
The Gialloblu ran out comfortable winners at home, pulling away in the second half.
"We didn't get anything going," coach Alberto De Rossi said afterwards.
"We weren't able to create anything in attack, we made lots of mistakes ... we were really poor.
"Up until now we've produced a high level of performances, we've had a great season with some great performances. But that didn't happen. We will have to remember this moment and learn from it in future."
