The Giallorosse will travel to Turin with the advantage in their Coppa Italia semi-final clash, after they ran out 2-1 winners in a thrilling game at Stadio Tre Fontane.
Annamaria Serturini got her side off to the perfect start, turning home calmly inside the first two minutes to draw first blood in the contest.
The Bianconere, befitting a side of their recent record in domestic competitions, soon clawed their way back into the game, however - as Linda Hurtig turned home early in the second half as their pressure began to count.
But Betty Bavagnoli's side would not be cowed - and they were rewarded for that determination at the death, as more fine work from Serturini ended in Lindsey Thomas turning home an 88th minute winner.
"It was a really tough game, we were under pressure at times but we never gave up," Thomas said.
"We had a plan for how we wanted to play and we implemented it brilliantly. Now we need to make sure we produce again in the second leg."
For Juventus, it was their first defeat against an Italian opponent since March 2019. The second leg is scheduled for the last full weekend in April.
"Beating Juventus gives us such confidence - they are the best time in Italy," Bavagnoli said.
"But what I saw most of all was the maturity, the team spirit. Today we needed to make a statement - and we did that. That's what I'm pleased about."
