Bavagnoli expecting toughest test against Juventus

The Giallorossi face the league leaders in the semi-finals of the cup, with the first leg taking place on Saturday at 12:30 CET.

Bavagnoli's side pushed the Bianconere to extra-time in the Supercoppa at the very start of the year - a performance that will give them a lot of confidence going into the match.

Roma will be without captain Elisa Bartoli, however, who suffered an injury in last weekend's defeat against Hellas Verona.

"We know it will be a tough game - about as tough a game as you can get," Bavagnoli said.

"This is a huge game in the course of the season, especially if we want to continue the progress we have made. We know what we need to focus on and what we need to be particularly attentive too.

"We can't deny it, it will be very tough - but we know Juve well, we respect them and we know they have world-class athletes and some brilliant youngsters too.

"So we know the sort of side we are facing, but we will continue to try and play our way - and we will go out there without fear and attempt to produce the sort of performance we know we are capable of."
