The Brazilian full-back was the star of the show at the Stadio Paolo Mazza, although substitute Nicolo Zaniolo's late individual effort will also live long in the memory.
Nikola Kalinic, Carles Perez (his first Serie A goal) and Aleksandar Kolarov all also got on the scoresheet, as Paulo Fonseca's side made it four wins and a draw in their last five games.

With SPAL relegated at the weekend, it looked like a big evening was in store almost as soon as Kalinic broke the deadlock with some lightning fast reactions inside the box inside the opening 10 minutes.
But Alberto Cerri equalised soon after with a brilliant header, as the visitors briefly seemed to find their rhythm - only for Perez's solo run and strike just before the break to visibly curb their enthusiasm.
That set up a second half where the Giallorossi ran riot - especially after Kolarov found the bottom corner from 30 yards just two minutes into the action.
Then it was all about Peres, who scored twice - both with pinpoint strikes of his right foot - to put the game beyond all doubt.
In the dying stages, substitute Zaniolo then ran half the length of the pitch and beat half of the SPAL team before burying his shot, bringing a close to the game in thrilling fashion.
The Giallorossi are back in action on Sunday, as Fiorentina visit the Stadio Olimpico.
