The Giallorosse host Tavagnacco at Stadio Tre Fontane on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 12:30 local time), looking to get back to winning ways after recent loses against Florentia and Juventus.
And Bavagnoli has been pleased by what she has seen from her players in training this week.
“The girls have been working hard, they’ve looked focused and eager to bounce back,” Bavagnoli told Roma TV.
“We had to – and wanted to – analyse our last two games, two defeats that came about in different ways. We’ve tried to address where we went wrong.”
She added: “Our squad has changed a lot from last season, but we’ve kept on working on a lot of the same ideas. It’s the mentality that is the most important aspect and it takes time to really find it – we are working on finding the spirit and attitude we need in every game.”
Tavagnacco come into the game further down the Serie A standings, but Bavagnoli is not concentrating on that.
“Tavagnacco are a really tough, combative side,” Bavagnoli added.
“We don’t think about where they are in the standings. It’ll be a good game, at our stadium and in front of our fans who always support us. I’m expecting a big response from us.”
