Roma Women coach Betty Bavagnoli has expressed her satisfaction with the work done during last week's training camp in Norcia.
The Giallorosse returned from Umbria on Sunday afternoon, after a tough week of work putting the building blocks in place for the new campaign.
The team played an intra-squad friendly on Saturday; the game finishing 1-1 after goals from Annamaria Serturini and Lindsey Thomas.
“The final assessment of the training camp is positive," Bavagnoli told Roma TV.
"We’ve worked very intensively; the girls have stayed focused despite the tough sessions. I’ve already seen a few signs of the things we want to see out there on the pitch."
Bavagnoli's side have just over a month until the start of the new campaign - as the coach continues to blend the nine summer arrivals into the squad.
"I’m very pleased with the new arrivals because not only are they great players, but they have immediately put themselves at the disposal of the team and bought into our principles," she added.
"They have integrated really well.”
