Zan Celar and Gianmarco Cangiano grabbed two goals apiece in the game, as the Giallorossi ultimately ran out relatively comfortable winners - in a game only marred somewhat by a late injury to substitute Zakaria Sdaigui.
Roma took the lead shortly before the break through Celar, only for Favilli to restore parity not long into the second half. But a quick-fire brace from winger Cangiano around the hour-mark proved to be the decisive period in the game, with Celar effectively killing off the contest with another fine finish as the game entered the final 15 minutes.
The victory ended a three-match run without a win for De Rossi's side, moving them back up to fifth in the league standings - two points off the top two.
