Manolas spent five years with the Giallorossi - etching his name into the club's history thanks in part to that unforgettable goal against Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the 2017-18 Champions League.
"I want to thank the coaches, the teammates and all the fans who supported me and encouraged me during this period," Manolas wrote on Instagram.
"I have spent five amazing years here, I always gave everything I had with a love for this team. Goodbye, and thank you Roma!"

Pellegrini, a graduate of the club's youth academy, also expressed his thanks for the part the club played in his development as a footballer.
"I want to thank Roma for the years we spent together," Pellegrini said.
"For my path through the youth sector, where we won so many trophies and achieved so much, to arriving in the first-team. Over the years I met so many people, and I learned something from all of them: from coaches to teammates, team managers to kitmen, doctors and physiotherapists. I thank each and every one of them.
"Without them I would not have become the Luca that I am today. I arrived eight years ago as a baby, and now I leave as someone much more mature. From my heart I would like to thank the fans that always supported me, through the disappointments to the achievements, both big and small, that I enjoyed - of which I wish there had been a few more."
