Italy picked up a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Georgia on Tuesday afternoon to continue their perfect start to qualifying for the forthcoming Women's European Championship.
Elisa Bartoli and Manuela Giugliano once again both started for the Azzurre, who ultimately secured victory in Tbilisi thanks to Cristiana Girelli's follow-up to her own saved penalty.
Milena Bertolini's side createde a torrent of chances, but a combination of poor finishing and bad luck meant the scoreline ended up much closer than it could have been.
A third Roma player, Annamaria Serturini, was a second half substitute.
