Roma could face Hungarian side Debrecen or Albanian team Kukesi in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.
The Giallorossi discovered their potential opponents during a draw at UEFA headquarters on Wednesday.
The two teams will face each other on July 11 and 18 to decide who will progress to the next phase.
The second qualifying round is due to take place on July 25 and August 1. As things stand the first leg will take place in Rome, although UEFA is still to formally confirm the arrangement of the two legs.
