After beating Australia in added time during their opening match of the tournament, the Azzurre have a chance to put themselves on the verge of the knockout rounds with a win against the Reggae Girlz.
But Bartoli knows the game will be far from straightforward - especially with two Roma teammates, Allyson Swaby and Trudi Carter, likely to be in the Jamaica line-up.
"We don't want to make the mistake of underestimating Jamaica," Bartoli said.
"We need to go out there with the same focus we had in the first game. They are physically strong and very athletic, and are tactically a bit different to other sides. They can cause us problems.
On her club teammates, she added: "The are nice girls, they adjust to Rome pretty well. We have swapped a few messages about the game, just as we did after the draw was made."
