Dzeko moves into eighth on all-time scorers list

Dzeko - captain for the night in the absence of Daniele De Rossi - found the back of the net in the 18th minute at the Stadio Bentegodi, firing Roma into an early 2-0 advantage.

The goal was his 83rd in all competitions since joining the Giallorossi in the summer of 2015, moving him level with the great Delvecchio in the all-time standings.

The Bosnian needs four more to draw level with Abel Balbo (87), but will need to become just the seventh player ever to score 100 goals for the club if he is rise into the top six.
