The Giallorosse, 6-3 winners in the first leg back in January, will reach the semi-finals of the competition with another strong performance at Stadio Tre Fontane – and Bavagnoli hopes her injury-hit side take full advantage of that opportunity.
“The first leg advantage doesn’t mean we can start thinking we are already through – we can’t afford to let our guard down,” Bavagnoli said.
“We have a few injuries, so again there will be a few changes to the side tomorrow.
"But as we have said before, everyone in the squad is excited by the Coppa Italia and we want to go as far as possible.”
Following Wednesday’s game, there is a long break before the next fixture – as international squads meet up for the next few weeks with an eye on this summer’s Women’s World Cup in France.
“After tomorrow’s game we have a three-week break, which will give us the chance to get a few players back from injury and also recharge our batteries both physically and mentally,” Bavagnoli said.
“We’ve seen a lot of our players called up for national teams this week, and that’s something to be proud of.”
The Giallorosse have four players in the Italy senior squad: Elisa Bartoli, Agnese Bonfantini, Rosalia Pipitone and Annamaria Serturini.
