The Giallorosse made it seven points from their last three games in impressive fashion at Stadio Tre Fontane, as Federica Di Criscio, Agnese Bonfantini and Annamaria Serturini scored the goals for Betty Bavagnoli’s side.
Roma Women are now unbeaten in their last three games.
“It’s a win that gives us belief in what we are trying to do, but more importantly it raises our morale,” Bavagnoli said afterwards.
“I need to praise my girls because they performed just as I asked them. We will enjoy these three points.”
She added: “Now we have the international break; we will continue to work hard and be ready for the next game. The strength of this team is in its unity.”
Victory looked on the cards almost from the first moments, as defender Di Criscio headed home to get off the mark for the club.
“It was great to get the goal,” Di Criscio said. “I’m pleased, for myself but especially for the team because it helped us get the win.
“This was a game where we got the rewards for the hard work we’ve put in. We need to take things game-by-game, and not look at the league standings. We know the campaign will be hard.”
