Arabic is the No.1 language of followers of Roma on Facebook and today’s announcement of a new official Arabic-language social media account is the latest development in a new digital strategy that began in January 2015 and aims to bring the club closer than ever before to supporters all over the world.
Already this year, the club have launched new local-language social media accounts in English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai and Indonesian.
In July, Roma announced the launch of an official Arabic-language Twitter account – allowing the club to communicate directly with fans in Arabic for the first time.
Now, with the launch of a dedicated Arabic-language Facebook page, Roma fans across the Middle East and Africa can engage with the club in local-language every day on the world’s most popular social meda platform.
Fans living outside of Arabic-speaking countries should ‘Switch Region’ – accessible from the drop-down options next to the Share button on the cover image – to begin following the page.
