“We should have won it,” declared the French defender after the game. “We scored two goals but then conceded three. We just need to work hard now.”

How are you feeling?

“Not great, I came off because I couldn’t continue. We’ll see what’s wrong with me. It was a hefty knock and it caused me a lot of pain.”

What happened after you went 2-0 up?

“We had taken the game by the scruff of the neck, scoring two goals away from home, which is not easy. But then we conceded two stupid goals – there’s not much else to say. I was struggling and it was hard for me to put pressure on them, then we conceded from a set play. As I said, we need to keep working hard.”

Why are you losing focus at the back?

“I don’t know. It’s horrible to concede certain goals and then starting the second half the way we did made it even harder. We need to show that we have good mental strength. We bagged a goal to make it 3-3 today and that was no mean feat.”
