Mario Rui will make his Roma debut when the Giallorossi take on Sampdoria in the last-16 of the Coppa Italia on Thursday night.
The Portuguese full-back, who signed for the club in the summer from Empoli, suffered a serious knee injury on the club's pre-season tour of the United States, but has now fully recovered and has been given the chance to impress at the Stadio Olimpico.
He is joined in the starting line-up by goalkeeper Alisson, as coach Luciano Spalletti confirmed on Wednesday, while Antonio Rudiger returns after his suspension at the weekend.
