The Pharaohs face local rivals Morocco in the quarter-finals of the competition in what promises to be Egypt’s toughest match of the tournament so far.
Salah’s brilliant free-kick goal against Ghana last week helped Egypt to qualify as group leaders with 7 points, while Morocco qualified as runners up with 6 points.
Salah will be a key element in the Pharaohs’ line-up and is expected to feature for Egypt either side of a lone striker.
Former Roma player Medhi Benatia could feature for Morocco.
The winner of the quarter-final will face Burkina Faso in the semi-final on Wednesday.
