Florenzi continues rehab on Christmas Day

Alessandro Florenzi underlined his commitment to his rehabilitation process on Sunday - continuing the hard work despite it being Christmas Day.

Florenzi is currently on holiday in the Maldives as players enjoy the brief winter break in Italy, but that has evidently not had an impact on his determination and resolve to continue his recovery after undergoing knee surgery.

The versatile defender posted a Christmas message to his supporters on social media, showing him training on the beach with club physio Alessandro Cardini.

"I wish you all a wonderful Christmas," Florenzi wrote, "and hope that you find so much love, happiness and serenity under the tree. A huge from Ale!"
