It was important to respond tonight after the Lazio defeat. What was your take on the game?
"It was important to produce a big response after the derby and maintain our lead over Napoli. Winning was important. During the week we kept reminding ourselves how important these two matches against AC Milan and Juventus are and we played excellently tonight. We defended well, you could see that."
You hugged [Gianluigi] Donnarumma after the final whistle. What did you say to one another?
"I've known him ever since he was very young. He made a wonder save to deny [Diego] Perotti and he's proving he's an outstanding keeper. But, leaving that to one side, we're delighted with this great win."
Your response to the derby loss must continue against Juve too...
"We have to produce another performance against them - it's the decider. We'll need to be very careful. We needed to respond after the derby and it wasn't easy but we're pleased. Now we must push on and the next few matches will have a big say on our season. Second place is a fair target given the campaign we've had."
What will your approach be against Juve?
"We need a flawless performance - a mix of the good stuff we've produced of late. We need everyone's input and tonight's win will give us a real lift ahead of Juve."
