The renowned Italian ship, regarded among the finest the fleet has ever produced, welcomed the Giallorossi stars - as parties exchanged gifts and the Roma players enjoyed a tour.
The ship was built in 1930, and has been in service almost continously ever since. It brought the Olympic flame to Rome for the 1960 Olympics and has frequently been named among the most beautiful sailing ships in the world.
Named after the great explorer Amerigo Vespucci, it now serves predominantly as a training ship as it tours the world.
