The Under-19s, propelled by Edoardo Soleri's hat-trick, delivered a resounding win at the Tardini stadium in Parma, with Marco Tumminello and Mirko Antonucci getting the game's other goals.
The Primavera will now play Inter Milan for a place in the final, and a shot at defending the crown they won last season.
“It was a great night and the lads played with maturity throughout," De Rossi said. "We'll start focusing on the next one [against Inter] tomorrow and we know we'll be up against an excellent side. We've played them loads of times this season and they've caused problems for us but we've prevailed more often than not. Thursday is a different game, however.”
The game against Inter is scheduled for Thursday 8 June at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia - with kick-off at 20:45 CEST.
"We went out there really hungry for it today and we've been looking like our usual selves again for a while now," De Rossi added. "Regardless of anything that went our way, we were good value for the win. We come out of this game even stronger than we went into it.
“We moved the ball around well tonight and we had plenty of good ideas. We played attacking football and used our heads.”
