The club's medical staff have issued the following update on the condition of forward Stephan El Shaarawy
On Wednesday morning, after returning from international duty with Italy, Stephan El Shaarawy underwent medical examinations which revealed evidence of a muscular oedema in his right adductor longus muscle.
The player will continue with a recovery program and his condition will be evaluated on a day-by-day basis.
