Club legend Francesco Totti has thrown his weight behind UEFA's ongoing 'Equal Game' campaign, which focuses on the rights of every man, woman and child to enjoy football without fear of discrimination.
Writing on Twitter, the Giallorossi director shared a video focused on Abubacarr Konta, a young man who was forced to leave The Gambia and, through football, has started to adjust to a new life in Italy.
"'Football unites people. This is what I love about this game,'" Totti quoted Konta as saying, before adding: "I fully agree with Abubacarr's words and wish him all the best for the future."
