AS Roma is delighted to announce Gianpiero Piovani as Head Coach of the AS Roma first women's team.
After a playing career that began in Brescia in 1986, Piovani became a club legend at Piacenza, where he played for eleven seasons.
He began his career in women’s football as manager of Brescia for the 2017-18 season, with whom he won a Supercoppa. From 2018 to 2024, he was in charge of Sassuolo, while over the past two seasons he has led Inter to second place in Serie A.
Gianpiero Piovani has been awarded the Panchina d’Oro twice in his career: in the 2017-18 and the 2019-20 seasons.
The coach has signed a contract that runs until 30th June 2028.
