Ndicka and Svilar hit 100 appearance mark: more century-making stat curiosities


In Roma’s match against Udinese both Evan Ndicka and Mile Svilar reached 100 appearances for Roma in all competitions.

Ndicka’s total is 74 Serie A, 24 Europa League and two Coppa Italia games, while Svilar’s is 67 Serie A, 31 Europa League and two Coppa Italia matches.

Evan Ndicka and Mile Svilar are the sixth pair of Roma players to reach the 100-match mark in the same match. Below is the list of the previous pairs:

The first player to reach 100 appearances for Roma was Attilio Ferraris on 5 October 1930 in Roma’s 2-0 win over Alessandria at Campo Testaccio.


Celik, the most recent

The last player in chronological order – before Ndicka and Svilar – to reach 100 appearances for Roma was Zeki Celik on 13 April 2025, in Roma’s 1-1 draw against Lazio.

Including Ndicka and Svilar, there are 174 players in the history of the Giallorossi who have reached the threshold of at least 100 appearances for the club.


The curious case of Menichelli and Boni

Giampaolo Menichelli and Loris Boni are the only two players of the club to have reached the 100-game milestone and not made further appearances for Roma.


Totti and De Rossi on the scoresheet

Both Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi, the two players with the most appearances in the history of the club - 786 and 616 respectively – both scored on their century of appearances for Roma, with both goals coming away from home.

Totti’s was against Atalanta in 1997 (while he was still wearing number 17), while De Rossi’s came against Udinese in 2006.

The Giallorossi's hundredth match in a UEFA competition dates back to 30 September 1999, Vitoria Setubal 1-0 Roma. That was the first leg of a tie, before Fabio Capello went on to win 7-0 at the Olimpico.


Hundredth in Europe overall

The Giallorossi's hundredth match in Europe was on 1 October 1986, which was Real Zaragoza 2-0 Roma, the second leg in the round of 32 of the Cup Winners' Cup.
