Goodbye Grandma Noris. Thank you for all your love

There’s a new star in the sky, and her name is Noris Lorenzi.

Grandma Noris, as she was universally known, left us as November drew to a close. She would have turned 89 on 21 December.

She was a Roma fan all her life. She always had a season ticket to watch her team. In August she was one of the fastest fans to buy the Cup season ticket, after securing her Serie A season ticket: she got a seat in the Monte Mario Sud section – after spending her whole life in the Tevere section – just four minutes after sales began.

Grandma Noris watched both the men’s and the women’s teams: a few years ago, the club’s media interviewed her at the Tre Fontane during one of the matches of our great women’s team.

Her age didn’t diminish her passion for Roma, as she would sing along with us during every match.

The funeral will be held on Monday 2 December, at 10:00 CET at the Church of Sant’Aurea in Ostia Antica, Piazza Della Rocca 13.

The condolences of AS Roma go out to the family.
