Our girls will be making their competitive bow this Friday 22 August when they visit Ternana for the first match of the Serie A Women's Cup, a new competition being played before the start of the traditional league campaign.
The game will be played at the Stadio Moreno Gubbiotti in Narni (Via Campagnani 86). Entrance is free.
Cup format
Roma have been placed in Group C for the inaugural edition of the Serie A Women's Cup, along with Ternana, AC Milan and Sassuolo. The Giallorosse will host the Rossonere at the Tre Fontane on Saturday 6 September (15:00), while the third match against Empoli is scheduled for the weekend of 13-14 September (date and time TBC).
Group A is made up of Parma, Juventus, Lazio and Napoli, while Group B includes Genoa, Inter, Fiorentina and Como.
The group winners and the best second-placed team qualify for the Final Four.
