That kicked off the summer training camp for the Giallorosse, who will train in Rome until Monday 28 July before heading to Dimaro Folgarida the following day. The team will remain in Val di Sole until 7 August and train at the Dimaro Municipal Stadium, where they will have access to a gym supplied by the Women's Team Gym Partner Dabliu. All training sessions will be open to fans.
As part of the training camp, the Giallorosse will play a friendly match against FC Como Women in Marilleva on 5 August at the Mezzana Sports Field. Kick-off is at 17:00 and there will be free entry for fans.
After returning to Rome on Thursday 7 August, Roma will face Inter at the Konami Youth Development Centre in Milan on 10 August (18:00 kick-off).
The last pre-season friendly will be against Napoli on Sunday 17 August at 17:00. This match will be played at Giulio Onesti Olympic Preparation Center behind closed doors.
Our girls will get their first taste of competitive action on the weekend of 23-24 August, when they travel to Ternana for the first round of the inaugural Serie A Women’s Cup.
Roma's UEFA Women’s Champions League opener is an encounter with Kazakh side Aktobe on 27 August in Group 2 of the second qualifying round. Should they win, Manuela Giugliano and her team-mates will then meet Sparta Prague or Nordsjaelland in the final, with a place in the third (and final) qualifying round at stake.
