Eldor Shomurodov joins Istanbul Basaksehir

The deal includes an option to make the transfer permanent.

The Uzbek forward, signed in the summer of 2021, made 85 appearances and scored 13 goals for the club, including the winner on his debut against Turkish outfit Trabzonspor in the Conference League play-offs, the match that kicked off a competition which Roma would go on to win.

In January 2023, Shomurodov moved on loan to Spezia for the remainder of the campaign and in 2023-24 he played for Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari, also on a temporary deal.
