World Blood Donor Day: AS Roma employees give blood in Trigoria with Italian Red Cross

It is the latest venture as part of the club's sustainability and volunteer programme 'Stronger Together', which was set up several years ago to bring benefits to the local community through the direct involvement of the AS Roma family.

A number of AS Roma employees were able to show their generosity and give blood with the help of the Italian Red Cross (Committee of the 9th Municipality of Rome), which sent a bloodmobile to be set up by the Agostino Di Bartolomei pitch at the Centro Sportivo Fulvio Bernardini.

The blood bags collected will be given to IFO (Hospital Physiotherapy Institutes), the Regina Elena National Cancer Institute and the San Gallicano Dermatology Institute, which specialise in cancer treatment and research, and rare cancers in particular.
