Valentina Giacinti signs new contract until 2027

AS Roma is delighted to announce that Valentina Giacinti has put pen to paper on a new deal with the club, running until 30 June 2027.

Valentina has played a starring role for the Giallorosse in the last two seasons, which have seen the team win two league titles, an Italian Super Cup and a Coppa Italia.

"I am very happy to have renewed my contract,” Valentina commented. “I feel like at home in Rome, surrounded by wonderful people and fans.

“I want to thank Friedkin family for their commitment to women’s football and the club for everything they have done and are doing for me. I can't wait to start another season together.”

The Italy striker has racked up 83 appearances and 38 goals in all competitions during her first two years in the capital and finished last season as joint top scorer, level on 18 goals with Evelyne Viens.

“In the last two years Valentina has clearly helped the team improve in all the competitions we play in,” commented Roma Head of Women's Football Betty Bavagnoli.

“Besides her attacking prowess, what we really like about Valentina is how hard she works on the pitch. We believe she is an inspiration to the many girls who watch our games.”

    Well done, Vale!
