Roma and Milan to pay tribute to Agostino Di Bartolomei during friendly in Perth

Triumph and glory as Roma captain, followed by three seasons at Milan.

For Agostino Di Bartolomei, the friendly match between the Giallorossi and Rossoneri taking place on 31 May in Perth, Australia, would have a special meaning.

For this reason, and coinciding with the thirtieth anniversary of his passing, AS Roma’s players will bear Agostino's name on their shirts for the fixture at the Optus Stadium. The tribute will be made through a special patch, containing the words "AGO IERI, OGGI, SEMPRE" [AGO YESTERDAY, TODAY, ALWAYS], which will also feature on AC Milan’s matchday jerseys.

It is a fitting tribute by the two clubs to an extraordinary man and champion who left an indelible mark on every fan.

Ago’s spirit will be with us in Perth. Yesterday, today, always.
