Svilar: "I'm happy to help the team with my saves"

Mile Svilar spoke to the media after keeping a clean sheet in Roma's 4-0 first leg victory over Brighton.

Here's what the goalkeeper had to say...

Some plays were started by you. You resemble De Rossi's football philosophy.

"We did what the coach asked of us. He has great ideas, and the game was played well.”

You were called to action, and you responded superbly by bringing home a clean sheet.

"My job is to be ready when opportunities arise. I did well today. It isn't over yet, but I'm pleased.”

What score would you give your save on Welbeck's header?

"It's a good save, but there is no score. You can give the score. This is my job."

How did De Rossi transform Roma in 50 days?

"It's difficult to explain. De Rossi has very good ideas. He surprised me, he is a very positive person. He encourages the team to believe in itself."

Does he get angry in the dressing room?

"A coach sometimes has to do it, and he does it at the right time. Let's keep going, toegther."

De Rossi complimented Rui Patricio a few weeks ago with how he reacted after losing his place. Is he also very helpful at this point?

"He's a great man, a top person. He works hard in training even when he isn't playing. He is also contributing to a positive training environment, which is extremely important."
