Thanks to the online votes from fans that propelled the club to the final, AS Roma won the award for "Serie A Best Digital Content By a Club" with the "Fan In The Box" campaign. This initiative, which was carried out a few months ago, was unprecedented in Italian football.
With the support of the Socios.com platform, six fortunate fans who owned $ASR Fan Tokens took part in an escape room experience with Vincent Candela in a suite at the Stadio Olimpico. They faced a series of challenges and unusual obstacles to earn the right to attend the match that evening.
The video documenting this original experience allowed the club to receive the prestigious award.
The prize was presented by Fabio Capello to Michael Wandell, AS Roma Chief Commercial and Brand Officer, during the ceremony held on the distinctive Palm Jumeirah island in Dubai, in the presence of the most important figures in the international football world.
