HDI Assicurazioni expands partnership with AS Roma by supporting the women’s first team

AS Roma is delighted to announce a new sponsorship agreement for the women’s first team.

HDI Assicurazioni, who are already partnered with the men’s first team, have reaffirmed their commitment to the club by supporting the female Italian Champions as a partner in the “Insurance” category for the 2023/24 season.

After electing the well-known and successful athlete, Federica Pellegrini, as testimonial and brand ambassador, HDI Assicurazioni have also chosen to form a partnership with AS Roma Women. This is confirmation of the company’s willingness to invest in the sports industry while moving past gender stereotypes, and promoting the values of equal opportunity, determination, commitment, and dedication. These values are at the heart of the company’s vision.

HDI will make its debut on the Giallorosse’s official shorts at the final of the Italian Super Cup on 7 January against Juventus. The brand will also be featured on advertising boards at the Stadio Tre Fontane and on press conference backdrops.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome another prestigious global partner to our Italian Champions. Together with HDI Assicurazioni, we are proud to reaffirm our commitment to Women's football" said Michael Wandell, Chief Commercial & Brand Officer of AS Roma.

CEO of HDI Assicurazioni, Roberto Mosca, also commented on the partnership. “We’re excited to announce this partnership with AS Roma Women, a team that embodies values of excellence, dedication, and determination. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to support women’s sport and promote equal opportunities in football. AS Roma Women are inspirations for millions of people and we’re proud to be by their side in this exciting adventure.”

HDI Assicurazioni has been operating for over a century and is part of the Talanx Group, which is active in over 175 countries across the world. HDI’s history is rooted in Italy and the company has a special link to Rome, where its headquarters are based.
