Manuela Giugliano extends contract until 2028

AS Roma are delighted to announce that Manuela Giugliano has renewed her contract with Roma until 30 June 2028.

Since joining the club in the 2019-20 season Manuela has featured 126 for the Giallorosse, scoring 31 goals and providing 35 assists.

In her time at Roma she has won a Coppa Italia, an Italian Super Cup and a Scudetto. She has also achieved the feat of becoming the player involved in more goals than any other in the women team’s history – 66.

“I’m delighted to have penned a new deal because from the very first day I joined Roma I’ve felt like an important part of this project. The club is like a big family with sporting and human values which resonate with me,” explained Manuela.

“Roma is my past, present and future. I’d like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to carry on our wonderful journey together as we strive to win more trophies.”

When Manuela turned out for Roma in their match against Barcelona on 21 March 2023 she was the first player to wear the number ten Roma shirt at the Stadio Olimpico since the days of Francesco Totti.

“Thanks to her great footballing ability and her natural knack of reading the game Manuela has become an increasingly important part of our project,” commented Sporting Director Gianmarco Migliorati. “She’s forged a strong bond with the club which is another reason to be really proud of her.”

“We’re happy to have renewed her contract because we know how much more she can bring to this team.”

    A big congratulations, Manuela!
