AS Roma support the disadvantaged in La Rustica through Stronger Together project

On 20 December AS Roma employees, together with Jose Mourinho, members of the coaching staff and some of the club’s generous partners organised a Christmas charity event to support families in need in the city’s suburban neighbourhood of La Rustica.

The ‘Casale Caletto’ Association, which operates in the area assisting around 400 people with financial support and housing, received a visit from the Giallorossi contingent to collaborate in the distribution of goods and services presented by AS Roma's partner companies.

The Mater Dei General Hospital were able to offer families in attendance cardiological and paediatric appointments as well as five BLSD courses in the use of the defibrillator donated by the club. Mater’sDei Commercial Director Alberto De Angelis and Jose Mourinho personally delivered the device to the Association’s management.

Employees also packed and distributed shopping bags containing basic food supplies donated by Deco Supermercati, Ferrarelle and La Molisana. In addition, Q8 provided school kits and toys while AS Roma gifted sporting gear.

The event was in collaboration with Forum Terzo Sector Lazio and rounded off a year’s worth of activity for the club staff volunteering programme, ‘Stronger Together’.
