Benedetta Glionna renews contract until 2026

Benedetta joined the club in summer 2021 and was the first Roma Women player to bag a Champions League goal. Her contributions over the last two seasons have contributed to success in the Italian Super Cup and Scudetto.

“I’m delighted and so excited to keep progressing in this team and playing for the club in every competition,” explained Benedetta. “I can’t wait to achieve new targets together with my team-mates”.

“I’d like to thank the club for showing faith in me and our fans for the love that they always transmit to me. It’s a pleasure and an honour to continue to play for this club”.

Glionna’s record to date reads 17 goals and 22 assists in 74 appearances.

“Benedetta is certainly a major talent in Italian football,” explained Betty Bavagnoli, Head of Women’s Football. “So far this season, she has oozed professionalism to carve out a new position as a key player in an increasingly competitive squad.

“We’re so pleased that we have extended her contract. She’s a big part of our plans in terms of achieving our goals as a team”.
