Unstoppable – Superiamo gli Ostacoli service returns to the Olimpico to aid disabled fans

The league is starting up again and at the Stadio Olimpico, the club’s Unstoppable – Superiamo gli Ostacoli (“we overcome obstacles) service is set to make it easier to travel to the stadium for all physically disabled supporters who need a wheelchair.

In collaboration with the Protezione Civile Arvalia, AS Roma will make a fleet of vehicles available to transport disabled supporters and their companions for all home fixtures. Also for the 2023-24 campaign, the project will benefit from Toyota vehicles and KINTO services. KINTO, Global Mobility Brand of the Toyota Group and Mobility Service Provider of AS Roma, will provide the Club with a fleet of Toyota vehicles suitable for transporting people with disabilities, for all home matches of the season.

Volunteers at the association will organise travel for supporters, accompanying them at the stadium, helping them during the match and navigating their return journey home.

In addition to supporting supporters with mobility difficulties on matchday, the project covers the putting on of transport during the week to support the community, in particular for anti-violence centres, children’s homes, elderly care homes and facilities for families and children receiving treatment at oncology centres.

    How to book the service

Reservations can be made from 09:00 to 18:00 CEST and exclusively by 14:00 on the day before the match by anyone in possession of a match ticket or season ticket.

When booking, fans must indicate the name on the ticket or season ticket and the relevant sector (if Tribuna Tevere).

To book the service, simply phone the following 24-hour telephone number: 3518484045.

For further information, please email trasportodisabiliroma@gmail.com.

The service for Roma v Salernitana is now full up. We therefore recommend booking well in advance for future matches in order to benefit from this service.

    Radio transmitters

The club will also continue to provide radio transmitters equipped with headphones for visually impaired fans. The radio transmitters will be guaranteed for season-ticket holders, while non-season-ticket holders will be required to book through the contact center.

The equipment, which is capable of broadcasting radio coverage of the match, can be collected from the desk at the disabled entrance to Tribuna Tevere.
