Camelia Ceasar signs new deal until 2026

Camelia joined Roma in the 2019-20 season and has gone on to star for the club as we claimed Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup glory. She was also vital last season as we won the Scudetto and made waves in the Champions League.

“I fell in love with Roma, the city and its people as soon as I began my time here four seasons ago”, said Camelia.

“I’d like to thank the club for always being there for me, providing me and my team-mates with the chance to continually improve. I’m so proud to keep representing Roma. I’d also like to thank the team for everything we’ve been through together and the objectives we’ve achieved. We’re aiming for many more in the future.”

So far in her Roma career Camelia has featured 87 times, keeping 32 clean sheets in the process.

“Camelia joined Roma without a great deal of fanfare, but thanks to her humility and hard work she soon became a vital member of this team,” commented Betty Bavagnoli, Head of Women's Football.

“We’re over the moon to have extended her contract because we’re aware of what she has to offer and how much she can contribute to her team-mates and the club as a whole.”
