The Slovene midfielder joined last summer and, though just 17, she has already earned herself plenty of playing time with the first team, making a total of 18 appearances in all competitions with four goals.
“I'm really happy to have this chance to extend my contract with a club like Roma,” Zara commented.
“It's been a thrilling year for me: I made my Roma debut, I played in the Women’s Champions League and I won the league title with both the U19s and the senior team. I couldn't have asked for more and I can't wait to see what the future has in store.”
“We're delighted to have renewed Zara's contract,” said Betty Bavagnoli, Head of Women's Football.
“We've made this club's priorities clear in recent years: we're working to ensure the first team is constantly improving while at the same time developing talented youngsters. Zara represents all of that and is one of the undisputed stars at youth level – that's why we are so pleased to have extended her contract.”
