The players will wear a UNHCR patch on their shirts when they play Juventus in Serie A at the Stadio Olimpico on 5 March this year.
The club will also start a fundraiser to help purchase generators, which will see Roma Clubs and local amateur sports organisations also take part.
The initiatives have been announced one year after the outbreak of the conflict, which has left at least 12 million people without access to electricity and heating.
The shirts worn by the players will be put up for auction and the proceeds will go towards purchasing clothes for women and children, blankets, food, stoves and insulation sheets for damaged homes.
Hundreds of thousands of families are facing a harsh winter in damaged houses or buildings which do not protect them from the frost. They are without electricity, heating, water supplies and have no means of making a living.
This is AS Roma’s fourth collaboration with UNHCR, after previous initiatives in 2021 and 2022.
The club will also organise a series of events with UNHCR representatives in schools, local amateur sports teams, parishes and Roma Clubs to raise awareness.
As well as participating in the player shirt auction, fans can make donations via different means:
