AS Roma can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Spanish side Getafe CF for the initial loan of midfielder Gonzalo Villar.
The agreement also includes on obligation for the transfer to be made permanent, dependent on certain conditions being met.
Villar, 24, joined the Giallorossi in January 2020, going on to make 64 appearances for the club in all competitions.
In January 2022 he joined Getafe on loan for the second half of the season. He has spent the first half of the current 2022-23 campaign on loan at Serie A side Sampdoria.
The club would like to wish Gonzalo the best of luck with this new chapter.
